Plan B is an Android app developed by Lookout Mobile Security (1 Front Street, Suite 2700 San Francisco, CA 94111-5386).

Plan B first became available on 22 Dec 2011. It is estimated that Plan B has been downloaded between 1000000 and 5000000 times from the Play Store.

Plan B 1.2 requires the following permissions:

Allows an app to access precise location. Alternatively, you might want ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to receive SMS messages.

Allows an application to send SMS messages.
